As the New Year begins I have seen on the Internet or heard mention of changes many of us would like to make in our own lives and those of our families. I’ve heard everything from exercising more, to spending more quality time with my kids, to watching less television or managing “screen time” more effectively.

As one eye focuses on the day in question, and on getting that day right, not giving up on the goal, the other eye views the target – the one moment in time when all the hard work will pay off. Pay day is reached in the fulfilment of the treasured goal.

Alcohol. Yes and I know that people consume a lot of alcohol at Christmas period, burning their hard earn money on a very “bitter liquid”. Avoid alcohol this period, be wise. Wise men do not take to alcoholism.
